Eric Johnson, Christopher Cross and many more come together to support HAMM

All ATX concert - ACL Live - HAMM


Eric Johnson and Christopher Cross have been working together since 1974. Once again they join in Christopher Cross' newest song "Austin Sunrise". Austin Sunrise was recorded for the "All ATX" album to benefit HAAM (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians). On September 24, 2013, the duo performed at the All ATX concert with many other artists which also raised funds for this Austin, Texas non-profit.

The ALL ATX CD supports HAAM and features 15 unique tracks by the total lineup of artists from the All ATX concert which includes Jimmie Vaughan and Lou Ann Barton, Suzanna Choffel, Monte Montgomery, Quiet Company, Malford Milligan, Van Wilks and Marcia Ball, Charlie and Will Sexton, Carolyn Wonderland and Guy Forsyth and Shake Russell and Michael Hearne apart from Christopher Cross and Eric Johnson. The album also features additional tracks by Ghostland Observatory, Alejandro Escovedo and Mother Falcon.

The "ALL ATX" Album was released on September 21, 2013 and the CD is available exclusively at Waterloo Records and Whole Foods Market in Austin and online at iTunes and Amazon.com. The concert took place at The Moody Theater in Austin, Texas and was recorded by KLRU-TV, Austin PBS.

Eric Johnson first worked with Christopher Cross in the album "Electromagnets" in 1974. Later they worked together in Cross' Grammy Award winning and self-titled debut album "Christopher Cross" in 1979, 1992 album "Rendezvous", 1998 album "Walking In Avalon" and Eric's 1996 album "Venus Isle". They also worked together for singles including "Talkin’‘Bout Her"/"It's All With You" in 1976 and "Imagination of You" in 2013.
